Sugar-free jelly might not contain sugar but it isn't healthy for your cat either. Depending on the type of artificial sweetener that was used to make the jelly, it could end up causing more harm to your pet.

Can Cats Have Jelly Beans?

A jelly bean is simply a bean-shaped sweet or jelly. Jelly beans, like jelly, are not healthy for cats. They have a high sugar content and can cause your cat to become ill if consumed in excess.

While your cat may eat one or two jelly beans, it shouldn't be a regular snack for your cat. Jelly beans offer no nutritional benefits to your cat. Be sure to keep an eye on your cat if they have a habit of searching through your stash of sweets.

Can Kittens Eat Jelly?

Jelly is not toxic to cats but neither is it recommended, especially for your little ones. Kittens are young and delicate and should be treated as such. A sneak lick or two of jelly will most likely not hurt your kitten but it is not of advantage to them either.
