Sugar-free jelly might not contain sugar but it isn't healthy for your cat either. Depending on the type of artificial sweetener that was used to make the jelly, it could end up causing more harm to your pet.

A jelly bean is simply a bean-shaped sweet or jelly. Jelly beans, like jelly, are not healthy for cats. They have a high sugar content and can cause your cat to become ill if consumed in excess.

While your cat may eat one or two jelly beans, it shouldn't be a regular snack for your cat. Jelly beans offer no nutritional benefits to your cat. Be sure to keep an eye on your cat if they have a habit of searching through your stash of sweets.

Can Kittens Eat Jelly?

Kittens can safely have a small quantity of jelly and nothing more. But if you are not completely sure about feeding jelly to your kittens, you can talk with your vet first.

When eaten in moderation, jelly is not harmful to your cat. They may show some signs of indigestion or throw up a bit but they should be okay.
