However, overfeeding cashew nuts to goats can lead to health problems. For this reason, cashew nuts should be fed to goats as a form of a snack.

Most Nuts that are considered seeds are edible for goats with the exception being walnuts. A walnut is the seed of a drupe. Walnuts are considered toxic to goats for various reasons. It is not advised to feed walnuts to goats as they are bad for their digestive system and can lead to several complicated health problems.
