Asparagus can also be cooked but avoid steaming for a long time so as to retain it's nutrient, it can be toasted or lightly salted. Avoid using oil or butter. Just like carrot and other veggies, you can cut the bottom part. The bottom part is quite hard to chew and with no nutrient. Frozen Asparagus too is not suitable for feeding your Ducks as it is too hard to chew. Do not add Vinegar to your Ducks diets, its acidic content can cause Acid Reflux. Asparagus is a great meal/ treat for all species of Ducks.
